I Remained Hopeful in Our Lord's Mercy

Recently, one of our dear friends, Roxanne, notified us that she was listing the Priests of the Sacred Heart in her estate plans with an unrestricted gift upon her passing for which we are humbled to learn.

Having received prayers and support from the Priests of the Sacred Heart while she worked limited hours caring for her mother Betty in the middle of stages of Alzheimer's disease, she "remained hopeful in Our Lord's mercy". Sadly, Betty went to her eternal reward in May of 2018. "She allowed me the honor of sitting bedside and holding her hand as I witnessed her final breath", says Roxanne, "caring for her was the most important thing I've ever done in my entire life."

Following the notice of Betty's death, Fr. Dominic reached out to Roxanne with one of our Memorial Cards. Roxanne writes in appreciation, " Long have I given the Memorial cards to others, and now I know poignantly what it is like to receive one. Though tearful now, I am comforted knowing of the many prayers for mom and me."
