Spiritual Director
Born in 1946 in Poughkeepsie, NY, Fr. Dominic was the second of three boys born to Emery and Mildred Peluse.
In his early years, Fr. Dominic attended Mt. Carmel Grammar School. He went on to Dehon Seminary of the Sacred Heart in Great Barrington, MA, graduating in 1964. After his novitiate in Ste. Marie, IL, he attended Kilrose Seminary in Honesdale, PA.
Following college, Fr. Dominic completed his theological studies at Sacred Heart Monastery/Sacred Heart School of Theology (now Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology) in Hales Corners, WI. He was ordained in 1974.
Fr. Dominic’s career with the Priests of the Sacred Heart has taken him to many places around the country and around the world. He has served in parish ministry in Southaven, MS; Sturgeon Bay and Franklin, WI; and Cypress, TX (for 11 years). He served as a vocation director in Donaldson, IN and in San Antonio, TX, working with individuals interested in studying for the priesthood.
He took sabbaticals to study in Rome, Italy and in Sydney, Australia, and he worked in our missions in India. Immediately prior to joining the Priests of the Sacred Heart Development Office as Spiritual Director, Fr. Dominic assisted in our mission work with Native American reservations in Chamberlain, SD.
Fr. Dominic’s rich pastoral experience, and his direct involvement with those served by our U.S. and foreign missions, give him unique qualifications to serve as a primary contact with benefactors and others interested in the spirituality and humanitarian work done by the Priests of the Sacred Heart. His devotion to Christ, his compassion and his love for people continue to inspire and touch so many who strive to follow God more closely in their lives.
Mission Advancement Manager
Pam is a Certified Gift Planning Associate and has been with the organization for 24 years. Pam administers the programs that allow our benefactors to learn more about what we do and how they can assist us in our ministry. This includes Charitable Gift Annuities, Bequests and Trusts, as well as major gifts. Pam travels with Fr. Dominic around the U.S., to some of our missions and on pilgrimages.
Pam describes her work as "a mission of God" and loves serving the priests and benefactors. Sharing the devotion to the Sacred Heart and the charism of Fr. Dehon has evolved over the years for Pam.
"My experiences interacting with the SCJs, the people they serve, and their devoted benefactors help me to see and share our common goal. My recent travels to India and Vietnam opened my eyes to the love our SCJ priests and brothers share with those in need. On the day of the dedication of the new Sacred Heart Shrine Church we served food to 10,000 people from all walks of life and many faiths."

Bilingual Mission Advancement Coordinator
Jessica has been with the Priests of the Sacred Heart for 19 years and has worked in various departments of the organization providing her with a good sense of the mission and ministry of the SCJs and our donors. Jessica has been part of Mission Advancement for 15 years.
Jessica is the main contact for our Spanish donors and also responds to English donor inquiries regarding annuities, donor events, various programs, recognitions, and major gifts.
When Pam is traveling, Jessica can be relied upon to make certain the needs of our donors and the office are taken care of.
