Sharing Our Devotion with Family
It is always so nice to visit with our friends across the country. From time-to-time, Fr. Dominic and Pam Milczarski, our Major Gifts Manager, will meet with donors in their homes. At each home, Fr. Dominic, prays with our hosts OR benefactors OR donors and then performs a house blessing. It is a special time to share any news about the Priests of the Sacred Heart and see if they would be interested in making a gift.
On a recent visit to Florida, Fr. Dominic and Pam visited several families. One of those was Philomena. While at her home they were able to hear about her life and the reason she supports the Priests of the Sacred Heart. Fr. Dominic was also able to honor her request to bless her home.

Philomena and her family learned about the Priests of the Sacred Heart through her mother-in-law. Her relationship with the Priests of the Sacred Heart has continued to grow stronger for over 20 years. Philomena was blessed by a wonderful marriage for 56 years until the recent death of her husband. She continues to enjoy her five children and 11 grandchildren.
Philomena has been particularly devoted to the Sacred Heart since she was given a Sacred Heart medal in third grade for perfect attendance!
Philomena is particularly interested in seminary education and has supported the Sacred Heart Burse program for many years which is an endowment program for the future of the priests. She also shared that she has arranged for a legacy gift in her estate plans furthering the connection with the Priests of the Sacred Heart and providing for their future.
